I got a washout on my reefer trailer they charge $35 and they only use water and no soap. It's an extra $10 for them to use soap. A total ripoff. Do not waste your money. If you're going stop at exit 291 in Tom's Brook, Virginia. They do a nice job on the washout and use soap and deodorizer $35. If you're going north stop at the blue beacon Carlisle they use hot water and soap for $35
Update...September, 2017.
Along with that the owner has discounted the price of the wash because of my loyalty!
I don't care what the color of thier skin is or if they have an accent, these guys bleed red, white and blue and acknowledge the God of the Bible as being in control!
I got to know the owner a little too. He immigrated to the states legally over thirty years ago. He started pumping fuel at a fuel stop and worked his way up to owning multiple chrome shops. His son is inlisted in the Navy and I got to meet him also.
Again, these guys are a good example of how legal immigration can work.
I've been getting washed here on average every other week and the results have been great.
I had another good wash job last week! Everything was touched, the owner even came out and grabbed a wash brush! The back side of my reefer fuel tank was scrubbed, along with the back sides of my trailer mounted tool boxes, I haven't had that happen east of Barstow!
Certainly not Blue Beacon. Place could use a good cleaning. Left my Motorhome & TOAD covered with soap streaks. Better than nothing, but just barely.
They JUST BARELY speak any English, be prepared. If you want $35 washout, tell them NO SOAP, or they charge more money for soap. They did a good rinse job in the trailer, and their chrome shop is cool. Got me in and out pretty fast.
Thats what you get For Taking a PICK UP to a TRUCK WASH!! LOL...Aside from that Typical inconsiderate paerson, its definitely NO Blue Beacon, as far as the wash goes, But on the other hand, if your in a hurry and need to wash a bunch of mud and grime off your Truck than it's not so bad. Now his selection of Chrome is by far Unmatched for the region. Prices not so bad but could be better. Has just about anything you could need...or i should say WANT
I was apprehensive about getting my truck washed but I was presently surprised with the results! Everything was touched and relatively clean. The rinse was good with minimal spots.
I had my starter fail (19 years old) in the bay and the owner quickly, w/o me asking, gave me a tug w/ his personal truck to get me started! I tried to tip him and he refused!
